Nathan may want to think about investing in a banana stand because Papa Bluth is about to pay his on-screen son a little visit. CBS announced on Wednesday (via TVLine) that Jeffrey Tambor will reunite with his 'Arrested Development' co-star Will Arnett in an upcoming episode of the network's popular hit sitcom, 'The Millers.' *insert overly-excited chicken dance here*
Tambor will serve in a guest-starring role where he'll play Ed Dolan — the owner of the station where Nathan (Arnett) and Ray (J.B. Smoove) work. And while limited details about the episode have been given, we do know the storyline will involve the guys pitching Ed a Saturday morning children’s program inspired by Tom’s (Beau Bridges) imagination.
No exact airdate has been nailed down yet, however, Tambor’s episode is scheduled to be filmed later this week and will air sometime in the spring. Who knows, maybe Arnett will bust out one of Gob's classic magic tricks. Just throwing that out there, writers!
In addition to playing the well-known Bluth patriarch, George Sr., in the FOX-turned-Netflix comedy, Tambor has managed to rack up a pretty impressive list of other TV credits, which include stints on 'Law & Order: SVU,' 'Raising Hope,' and 'The Good Wife.'
'The Millers' airs on Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on CBS.
