Running into an ex is always awkward. But when that ex just so happens to be a vengeful vigilante — well, that's even worse. Just ask Oliver Queen.
TVGuide exclusively reports that Jessica de Gouw is gearing up to reprise her role as Helena Bertinelli — aka The Huntress — in an upcoming episode of 'Arrow' appropriately titled "Birds of Prey." And from the sounds of things, we can expect some serious sparks to fly...but not the romantic kind.
Last we knew, Oliver's spurned former lover was on the hunt for her powerful, crime boss father, Frank Bertinelli (Jeffrey Nordling) after learning that he'd killed her fiancé. So what exactly is she doing back in Starling City?
Helena will return to exact revenge on daddy dearest once she learns that the Arrow's put him behind bars. However, if she wants to kill him, she's going to have to go through her former flame and Canary (Caity Lotz) in the process. So I'm sure that's going to work out well.
"We consider Jessica a member of the 'Arrow' family and we're looking forward to having her back for an episode everyone will be talking about after," executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells the site. As of now, the episode is slated to air Wednesday, March 26.
'Arrow' airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
