Whoa. Netflix really wants us to remember that there's a second season of 'House of Cards' coming up next month. To entice us even more (as if the release of two trailers and egimatic cinemagraphs were not enough), the studio released a bunch of still images from the upcoming season.
From the images, we can see that Kevin Spacey is back as Frank Underwood (of course), alongside his scheming wife, Claire (Golden Globe-winner Robin Wright). Lots of folded arms and intense stares from that dynamic duo, but we wouldn't expect anything less from the Underwoods, what with Frank acting now as the Vice President of the United States -- and of course, gunning for the POTUS.
Kate Mara's reporter Zoe Barnes seems to be peeking around corners and looking worried, probably because she's finally figured out that Frank, her former lover, is a whole lot more devious and dangerous than she suspected.
Gerald McRaney's Raymond Tusk is still around and, if these images are any indication, he's causing some trouble for the Vice President because Frank is looking -- dare I say? -- stressed.
You know what they say: a picture speaks a thousand words, and if these images are any indication of what's to come, we are in for some major drama, lots of folded arms, intense moments and, yes, all the insightful, snarky monologues to the camera we can stand (which is a lot).
