WATCH: The 'Full House' Guys Reunite to Sing Jimmy Fallon to Sleep
Jimmy Fallon is using his final days at 'Late Night' to orchestrate yet another reunion for fans of '90s nostalgia. On Wednesday night's episode, America's favorite father-figure trio: Danny Tanner, Jesse Katsopolis, and Joey Gladstone, AKA Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier, showed up (in costume!) to quell Jimmy's fears about leaving 'Late Night' for 'The Tonight Show.'
In a scene straight out of the classic '90s sitcom, Jimmy calls out from his four-poster pencil bed (which is as legit as it gets - Michelle Tanner had the same one), and Bob Saget comes running, followed closely by Stamos and Coulier, who heard the "sad, yet sappy, heartwarming music." They help Jimmy realize that while he has many great memories from his time on 'Late Night,' he'll be able to make new memories on 'The Tonight Show'. And just to top it off, they sing a rousing rendition of their old standby, at Jimmy's request: Elvis' "Teddy Bear."
The skit was packed with 'Full House' goodness that any fan could appreciate, from a heartfelt Danny Tanner lecture, to Jesse's "the hair - heh!" to Joey's "Cut-it-out!" (Not to mention the Mr. Woodchuck puppet - who still had that lying around?!)
Between this 'Late Night' appearance, their Oikos Super Bowl commercial, and a recent Reddit AMA, our favorite 'Full House' guys have been spending an awful lot of time together, and it makes one wonder if they might have a project in the works. Here's hoping this could be leading to the 'Full House' spin-off we didn't know we needed.
