Actor B.J. Novak has joined the long list of notable guest stars who will make visits to Greendale Community College this season.
The man who got his big break on the recently-departed NBC sitcom ‘The Office,' making his way through those ranks from humbling beginnings as an intern, has seen his value skyrocket over the last few years. He will return to the network he worked on for so many years as he is set to guest on the season finale of ‘Community.’
Novak was also seen in the film 'Saving Mr. Banks' and will feature in the forthcoming 'Spider-Man''sequel.
Novak joins David Cross, ‘Breaking Bad’ creator Vince Gilligan, ‘Arrested Development’ creator Mitch Hurwitz, Chris Elliott, and Tim Heidecker, among others, who are stopping by during this fifth season.
Little is known of his role other than that he is described as a “TV Stars in a sexy new series.” Maybe it’s a spin-off of 'The Cape.’
‘Community’ has had a lot of comings and goings this season, as the series dealt with the departure of Chevy Chase, introduced ‘Bad’ alum Jonathan Banks, welcomed John Oliver for more episodes, and said goodbye to actor Donald Glover.
The Season 5 finale will be in two parts, airing in April. ‘Community,’ along with other NBC shows, will go on hiatus this week due to Olympic coverage.
‘Community’ returns on Feb. 27.
