TVRage Bulletin: TNT Welcomes ‘Person of Interest’ Alum, ABC Orders ‘Astronaut Wives Club’ & More!

 

In addition to all of the other news we’ve been reporting, here are a few entertainment and TV headlines you might have missed:

-Brian Wiles, known for his stint as Mike Laskey on ‘Person of Interest,’ is headed to TNT’s pilot ‘Public Morals,’ from Ed Burns. In other casting news, Natalie Martinez (‘Under the Dome’) has joined ABC’s drama pilot ‘Secrets & Lies,’ starring Ryan Phillippe.

-ABC has given a series order to ‘Astronaut Wives Club,’ from ‘Gossip Girl’s Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz. It is based on the 2013 novel by Lily Koppel, which tells the story of astronaut wives during the 1960s space race.

-Two more dramas are headed for CBS, including a drama pilot set on Wall Street from ‘Justified’s Taylor Elmore, Ben Cavell, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly, actor John Cusack and Kevin McCabe. Timberman and McCabe will also executive produce a medical drama from ‘Brothers & Sisters’ David Marshall Grant.

-Jason Gerhardt, known as Cooper Barrett on ‘General Hospital,’ will join ‘Mistresses’ second season as a potential love interest for Alyssa Milano’s character, TVLine exclusively reports.

-Amazon has ordered yet another pilot titled ‘Cocked.’ The hour-long dramedy comes from ‘Lie to Me’ creator Samuel Baum and will focus on an estranged son’s relationship with his father, brother and uncle and the family’s gun manufacturing company.
