Uh oh, it looks like things might be getting even bloodier on NBC’s supernatural/fairytale thriller ‘Grimm (is that even possible?).
TVLine exclusively reports that ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenage’ actor Philip Anthony-Rodriguez is joining ‘Grimm’ in a multi-episode arc role, which just might cause even more problems and complications for Nick (David Giuntoli), Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz), Adalind (Claire Coffee), and others.
Anthony-Rodriguez is set to play a royal henchman named Marcus Ruspoli. As a member of the Verrat (you know, the Wesen-fighting organization serving the royal families to keep order in the Wesen world), his mission includes “finding and returning something important to the royals.”
Hmm...and what could that important something be? Maybe it has to do with Adalind’s baby, after all, she is carrying either Sean’s or his now deceased brother’s, Eric (James Frain), child. This means Adalind's child will be royalty, even if Sean is a Hexenbiest and seen as a “bastard” in the royal family, so it makes sense if the royal family wants the child in their world.
Seeing as Marcus Ruspoli is hired by Prince Viktor (‘Angel’s Alexis Denisof), first cousin to Eric and member of the royal family, his mission will most likely be something that will complicate the lives of at least Sean and Adalind. I guess we’ll have to wait and tune in to see what Marcus and Viktor are up to.
Expect Anthony-Rodriguez to pop up in Episode 17. So far, he’s slated for three episodes.
‘Grimm’ airs Fridays at 9/8c on NBC.
