Former ‘True Blood’ and ‘Southland’ star Kevin Alejandro is making his way to ABC, as he’s just been cast in the new pilot ‘Clementine.’
From the Mark Gordon Co. and ABC Studios, ‘Clementine’ focuses on Clementine Ross (Sarah Snook just scored the title role), a 28-year-old psychic. After she stops running from her past, Clementine starts to see her life changing in “unexpected ways.”
Enter Alejandro, who is set to play Charlie Madsen aka Clementine’s ex-boyfriend and father to their young daughter, Lucy. As a former “bad boy,” which we’ve seen Alejandro play so well previously, Charlie’s recently turned over a new leaf and is now said to be a responsible man, who finally took a step in the right direction after realizing he’d have to raise Lucy on his own due to Clementine’s personal struggles. ‘Clementine’ also stars David Strathairn (‘Alphas’), where he’ll portray Clementine’s father.
Currently, Alejandro guest stars as one of the recurring baddies aka Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood on ‘Arrow.’ Not only is he making Starling City unsafe, and making more work for Oliver Queen/Arrow, he’s also working alongside Oliver’s former island best friend Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett).
Alejandro’s other TV credits include ‘Golden Boy’ and the late and great ‘Ugly Betty.’
Until ‘Clementine,’ you can watch Alejandro on ‘Arrow’ every Wednesday at 8/c on The CW.
