Entertainment Weekly reports that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will guest star on ‘Shameless’ for the Season 4 finale.
On Sunday’s episode, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) was escorted to jail after one of the kids got into her cocaine stash and overdosed. Although, Fiona’s actions put her out of the running for guardian of the year, she will run into the attractive Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who will play Charlie, the manager of the diner where Fiona starts working after she gets axed from her secure office job due to the cocaine fiasco.
Even though I’m shameful that I can really only picture Jeffrey Dean Morgan as his endearing Denny Duquette on ‘Grey’s Anatomy,' he actually has an extensive television and film history. His earlier work includes many one-time appearances on shows such as ‘ER,’ ‘The Practice,’ ‘Walker, Texas Ranger,’ ‘Angel,’ ‘V.I.P.,’ ‘JAG,’ ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,’ ‘Star Trek: Enterprise,’ ‘The O.C.,’ and ‘Monk.’
Most recently, he's popped up on The CW’s 'Supernatural,’ and Starz’ cancelled period drama ‘Magic City.’
Like TV, Morgan's starred in slew of feature films, like ‘P.S. I Love You,’ ‘The Resident,’ and ‘Red Dawn.’
Morgan’s appearance in the finale is slated for Sunday, April 6. ‘Shameless’ airs Sundays at 9/8c on Showtime.
