Two characters have been cast in the ‘Supernatural’ spin-off, ‘Supernatural: Tribes,’ and one of the actor’s already has quite the supernatural experience.
It looks like Nathaniel Buzolic, who ‘The Vampire Diaries’ fans know and “love” as Original vampire Kol, is extending his supernatural roots to The CW Chicago-based spin-off.
Buzolic has landed the series regular role of David Hayden, a shapeshifter who’s been living as a human. Not only does David come from one of the top ruling monster families, but also years ago he gave up his life as a monster.
Another leading role has gone to Lucien Laviscount (‘Episodes,’ ‘Skins’), who will play Ennis Roth. Described as a resolute police academy trainee with a strong sense of justice whose fiancée has recently been killed in the crossfire of the monster war, he quickly learns the truth about supernatural creatures and what lurks in the shadows. All of this leads to Ennis becoming a hunter.
‘Tribes’ revolves around several characters and will tell the story of five rival monster families that are running the Windy City. These other characters include, Margo Hayden (David’s shapeshifter sister), Violet Durant (a werewolf who has eyes for David), Julian Durant (Violet’s brother and Ennis’ arch nemesis), and Freddie Costa (a Roth family friend with a secret).
We will meet all of the above characters in Episode 20 of ‘Supernatural’ airing Tuesday, April 29 on The CW.
