TVRage Bulletin:  Jamie Lee Curtis Joins Pilot, ‘Clone Wars’ Trailer & More!

 

In addition to all of the other news we’ve been reporting, here are a few entertainment and TV headlines you might have missed:

-Jamie Lee Curtis has nabbed a role in the untitled CBS drama pilot from David Marshall Grant, revolving around quadruplets: three brothers and a sister, who grew up on a reality show. Curtis will play the mother, Caroline.

-Netflix has released the first trailer for ‘The Clone Wars’ final 13 episodes. Watch it here:

-For ‘Entourage’ fans, the movie will come out on June 12, 2015.

-CBS’ ‘Madam Secretary’ is welcoming ‘Body of Proof’ alum Geoffrey Arend as a series regular, where he’ll play Matt, a speechwriter for Tea Leoni’s Secretary of State McGill.

-Bailee Madison (‘Trophy Wife’) has booked a Season 2 arc on ABC Family’s ‘The Fosters,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter. She’ll portray a young woman connected to Callie’s past. Her first appearance will be in the Season 2 premiere.

-ABC drama pilot/procedural ‘Agatha’ has cast Erik Palladino (‘NCIS: LA,’ ‘ER’) in the regular role of Captain Benjamin Cooper, who is admired and respected as the head of Philadelphia’s Major Crimes division.

-Callum Blue (‘Royal Pains,’ ‘Smallville’) has landed a series regular role in TNT’s pilot ‘Proof,’ a supernatural medical drama executive produced by Kyra Sedgwick. Blue is set to play the charming, best-selling author Peter Van Owen, who claims to be a psychic medium.

-ABC’s mystery-drama pilot ‘Sea of Fire’ has added Michael Trucco (‘Battlestar Galactica’) as Peter Harper, husband to Christina Chang’s character, TVLine exclusively reports.

-Mykelti Williamson (‘Justified’) has been tapped as the male lead in ‘Clementine.’ He’ll play Ray, a recently divorced detective with the Philadelphia Police Department.

-FOX has ordered Jerry Bruckheimer’s ‘Home,’ a family thriller exposing the secrets of a suburban family.

-The CW’s ‘The Flash’ has cast Michelle Harrison (‘Emily Owens M.D.’) in the guest/recurring role of Barry Allen’s mother.

-Lifetime’s sequel to ‘Flowers in the Attic,’ ‘Petals on the Wind,’ has recast Madison Dye’s role: Wyatt Nash (‘Pretty Little Liars’) will now play Christopher Dollanganger, E! reports. Bailey Buntain (‘Bunheads’) is also joining the TV movie as Carrie, the surviving Dollanganger twin, according to Vulture.

-Comedy Central has renewed Amy Poehler’s ‘Broad City’ for a 10-episode second season.
