-DirecTV’s mixed martial arts series, ‘Navy St.,’ has cast ‘Parenthood’s Matt Lauria in the lead role of Ryan, a charming, intelligent and good-looking guy, who once had it all as a world-class athlete, but lost it all after going to prison for drugs. TVLine and The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news.

-Drew Tarver is coming to ‘How I Met Your Dad,’ where he’ll play Greta Gerwig’s character’s gay best friend and brother-in-law, Todd, Deadline reports.

-NBC’s pilot ‘Coercion’ is welcoming Kenneth Choi (‘Ironside’) in the regular role of Sam Luttrell, New York’s CIA station chief.
