Lindsay Lohan is about to go 'Broke.' Well...not literally. In fact, her bank account will actually be a little bit higher these days given that she's just recently booked a guest-starring gig on the popular CBS sitcom '2 Broke Girls,' TVLine has exclusively learned.
The actress has signed on to play the role of Claire Guinness — a soon-to-be-bride who asks Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) to make her wedding cake. However, as Maxand Caroline get to know her, it quickly becomes clear that Claire has trouble making decisions — a trait, we assume, is kind of important when planning a wedding.
The episode is slated to air on April 14, which just so happens to be the exact night '2 Broke Girls'assumes 'How I Met Your Mother's 8/7c lead-off time slot. ('HIMYM' will take its final bow during its series finale on March 31.)
But this isn't Lohan’s first TV attempt at making a comeback...not by a long shot. The star has earned several guest stints on shows such as 'Anger Management,' 'Glee,' 'Ugly Betty,' and 'Eastbound & Down.'
She also managed to nab a starring role in the Lifetime biopic 'Liz & Dick,' which received rather lackluster reviews, and will soon be the subject of a documentary series on the OWN network, premiering Sunday, March 9.
