It's hard to imagine that there's a big crossover audience between the two shows, but it looks like Once Upon a Time creators/executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are working on a new show as well. The former LOST writers are consulting producers on the new Disney XD animated series TRON: Uprising, based on the Disney franchise of the same name. The duo, who had previously written the screenplay for the 2010 sequel TRON: Legacy, have been busy at work wrapping up the first season of their ABC series One Upon a Time, which will wrap up on Sunday, May 13 (don't worry, it'll be back for a second season).
On Wednesday, May 9 from 3:00-4:00 pm ET/12:00-1:00pm PT, the duo will be online answering fan questions about both shows. In a live video broadcast on Facebook, the two will chat with IGN's Eric Goldman, who will ask them questions submitted on Facebook by fans.
The chat will be split into two parts, each with an exclusive video clip. The first half will center upon Once Upon a Time. Thirty minutes early, a new sneak peek of the season finale will air (at 2:30/11:30). The second half of the chat, starting at 3:30, will provide a three-minute preview of "Beck's Beginning," the prelude to TRON: Uprising. The full, half-hour version of "Beck's Beginning" will air uninterrupted on Friday, May 18 on Disney XD. Beck (voiced by Elijah Wood), the main character of the show, is "a young program... who becomes the unlikely leader of a revolution inside the computer world of The Grid." The series will be computer-generated "with a 2D aesthetic," and takes place between the original TRON film and TRON: Legacy.
If you have questions for Eddie and Adam, tune into Facebook on Wednesday. I'm personally hoping that someone brings up just how awesome "The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt" was, but that's probably a long shot.
Once Upon a Time airs its season finale on May 13.
