It looks like ‘Pretty Little Liars’ alum Bryce Johnson is heading to the Windy City to showcase his ‘Supernatural’ side!
Just the other day via Twitter, Johnson tweeted that he was guest starring in the ‘Supernatural’ spin-off, ‘Supernatural: Bloodlines,’ based in Chicago and revolving around a group of monster families.
As he tweeted, “Getting ready to head to #Vancouver to shoot #Supernatural spinoff #bloodlines w/ #PLL alums @onlyseanfaris and @natebuzz #PLLFamily #RT!!”
Well, TVRage.com has learned exclusively who Johnson will be playing. As Johnson unveiled, he will be taking on the role of Saul Lassiter, a high ranking member of one of the five most powerful monster families in Chicago.
In the possible recurring role, Johnson also gets to work alongside other ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actors, such as Nathaniel Buzolic and Sean Faris, who will be portraying shapeshifter David Hayden and werewolf Julian Durant, respectively.
Other cast members include, Lucien Laviscount as "newly-minted" hunter Ennis Roth, Danielle Savre as David’s sister Margo, Stephen Martines as Freddie Costa and Melissa Roxburgh as Julian’s sister Violet Durant.
‘Bloodlines,’ originally titled ‘Tribes,’ will air as a backdoor pilot in Episode 20 of ‘Supernatural’ Season 9 airing on April 29.
Johnson’s other TV credits include, of course, ‘PLL,’ where he played the creepy Detective Wilden, ‘The Client List’ and ‘Popular.’
