Adrian Pasdar is on a mission that's guaranteed to make you positively green with envy...or rather just green in general.
Marvel.com announced on Wednesday that the actor has just recently secured a deal to guest star on ABC's 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' playing well known comic book villain, Glenn Talbot — a famous military menace who's spent years trying to track down The Incredible Hulk.
And while the former 'Heroes' alum is currently keeping details of his story arc held pretty tight to the vest, he's hinted that the role may extend beyond just one episode.
“As willing as I am to jump when Jeph [Loeb, Marvel TV president] calls, there had to be a little bit more in it than just an episode for me,” Pasdar teased. “I can’t say much more but the mustache is in a locker and it’s being taken out and prepped as we speak for next week.”
Sounds like a "smash"-ing good time, wouldn't you say? And speaking of that iconic mustache of his, Pasdar regrettably admits it’s not as natural as you might think.
“I had a week to prepare and as macho as I like to think I am, there’s just no way I can grow that mustache in a week,” he told the site. “So we had to cut up a $400 dollar mustache and try it on knowing that it might fail and there’s not always room to do that in the make-up department.”
'S.H.I.E.L.D.' has already proven that it's not afraid to incorporate popular comic book characters into its plot, having just recently brought on 'Thor's Lady Sif earlier this week. So it will be interesting to see how Pasdar's presence will impact Agent Coulson & Co.
Perhaps we'll even get a visit from the Hulk himself? Hey, a girl can dream!
