-‘The Office’s Kevin Malone is heading to ‘Criminal Minds,’ well the actor who played him is. Brian Baumgartner will guest star in the upcoming 22nd episode, TVLine has learned, where he’ll play “a man who at an unexpected crossroads in his life goes on a killing spree.”
-Deadline reports that ‘The New Normal’s Georgia King will co-star in Matthew Perry’s ‘The Odd Couple’ reboot. She’ll star as a model, Katie, who lives in Felix (Thomas Lennon) and Oscar’s (Perry) building.
-Queen Latifah will guest in a future ‘Hot in Cleveland’ episode, TVLine reports. She’ll play Esther Jean Johnson, the aunt of Elka’s (Betty White) rival for City Council.
-According to TVLine, ‘Glee’ actor Chris Colfer will write an episode for the fifth season of the FOX musical series. Details have yet to be revealed about the episode.
-Kim Dickens (‘Treme’) has been tapped to play Anthony LaPaglia’s wife in CBS’ ‘Red Zone’ pilot. Her character, Helen Weller, is described as confident, strong and a former CIA shrink who now teaches psychology at a high school. Samantha Mathis (‘Under the Dome’) and Kevin Rahm (‘Mad Men’) also star as husband and wife.
-‘Revenge’ and ‘Nikita’ alum Ashton Holmes has nabbed the role of one of Jamie Lee Curtis’ kids in David Marshall Grant’s CBS pilot. He’ll play Gary, possibly the most intelligent of his siblings (quadruplets). However, he left medical school to travel and find himself, but a near-death experience brings him back to his family and his brother, Jonathan, who is now involved with Gary’s one true love.
-Sheila Vand (‘Argo’) will co-star opposite of Katherine Heigl in NBC’s pilot ‘State of Affairs.’ She’ll star as tough CIA analyst Grace Hough, who works on the president’s daily briefing team.
