Olivia Pope & Associates better watch their backs, because an ‘Original’ vampire is headed their way.
That’s right, the talented Sebastian Roché, who’s famous for playing a variety of supernatural characters, including stints on ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘The Originals’ and ‘Supernatural,’ will join ABC’s hit Shonda Rhimes series ‘Scandal.’
The other day, Roché first tweeted the news of his scandalous guest spot, “Yes I will be on Scandal next week with the delightful, uber talented @kerrywashington, Wonderful cast!” The tweet also included a photo (left) with ‘Scandal’s leading lady, Kerry Washington aka Olivia Pope, who the series revolves around (oh, and her love affair with Tony Goldwyn’s President Fitzgerald Grant).
Not much has been revealed about Roché’s character, except that he just might have some scenes with Guillermo Diaz’s Huck. Will he have some relation to B613? Will he be a former or current killer? Whatever it might be, I’m sure he’ll have some skeletons in his closet -- who doesn’t on this show?
Most recently, Roché popped up on The CW’s ‘Originals’ as Mikael -- the big bad father of Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt), in addition to being the stepfather of Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Roché isn’t afraid to let his villainous side show on the small screen, so let’s hope he gets to do that on ‘Scandal’ too.
He’ll appear in several episodes, but you can catch Roché’s first appearance on April 3.
‘Scandal’ airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
