Hold onto your fairytale hats, everyone, because it looks like The Knave of Hearts is headed to Storybrooke!
'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland' may have come to an end, but that doesn't mean one of its stars can't find a happily ever after...by way of a new beginning. Entertainment Weekly exclusively reports that 'Wonderland' alum Michael Socha is expected to join the 'Once Upon a Time' cast as a series regular sometime next season.
However, nothing can be set in stone just yet, given that the series itself has yet to be officially picked-up for another season, though we'd say it's really all just a formality at this point. In fact, ABC hasn’t announced any of their 2014-15 renewals yet. But when they do, word has it the 'Once' producers have plans to bring Socha on-board the fantasy drama.
The Knave/Will Scarlet was easily one of the most beloved characters from the 'Wonderland' gang, so fans of either series will undoubtedly find this news pretty exciting. For those unfamiliar with his background, Will is a sardonic adventurer, romantic, and thief who is best friends with Alice (Sophie Lowe) and eventually turns into a genie.
And, let's face it, the people of Storybrooke could use a few magical wishes right about now.
As of now, no other members of the 'Wonderland' crew are heading to their spin-off's predecessor, at least for now. But given how 'OUAT' has a habit of constantly introducing new characters, at least for a one-off episode, there's always a chance we'll see Alice & Co. again someday.
'Once Upon a Time' airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.
