‘Suits’ is going to need more suits, because two men are joining the hit legal series in recurring roles for Season 4 airing this summer.
Today, it was announced that D.B. Woodside (‘24’) and Brendan Hines (‘Scandal’) will appear in somewhat of a major capacity on the USA drama, starring Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter) and Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross).
Woodside is taking on the role of Jeff Malone. Not only is he a former SEC prosecutor and a financial expert, but he also has personal stock in Pearson Specter. He lends the law firm a helping hand when it’s faced with it toughest challenge yet.
Also, and this is 100 percent speculation, Woodside looks and sounds like Jessica Pearson’s (Gina Torres) type. Maybe these two powerful lawyers will battle it out in both the courtroom and the bedroom. After all, Jeff’s character description does say he has “personal stock” at the firm. A double entendre? I’d like to think so.
Moving onto Hines. He will portray Logan Sandler, the son of a multimillionaire entrepreneur born with a silver spoon in his mouth. With that wealth and privilege also comes a bad attitude aka Logan doesn’t like the word “no.” He’s driven to prove himself through a splashy acquisition, which puts him in the middle of a conflict between Harvey and Mike.
‘Suits’ airs Thursdays at 9/8c on USA.
