‘Suits’ Welcomes Melanie Papalia as Mike’s Secretary

Watch out Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), because your man is getting a new lady in his life in the form of a secretary at his new job.

Today, USA announced that its hit legal series will be welcoming Melanie Papalia (‘The Newsroom’) in the recurring role of Amy, the executive secretary for Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) at his new Sidwell investment banking job, which he just accepted in last night’s finale.

An immediate connection and rapport will form between the two, but Rachel and Mike fans can breathe, as creator Aaron Korsh told TVGuide.com that there are “no plans now” to break up the lovebirds. They will still be a couple in Season 4.

In addition to Papalia, the upcoming season of ‘Suits’ will see several familiar faces, including ‘24’s D.B. Woodside and ‘Scandal’s Brendan Hines.

Most recently, ‘Suits’ cast ‘Family Ties’ patriarch Steven Keaton aka Michael Gross. He is set to play the recurring character of Walter Gillis, who is the down-to-earth founder of a groundbreaking DVD distribution company. Not only is he working hard to fend off multiple takeover bids, but he’s also trying to keep his business solvent.

Papalia’s also starred in ‘Motive,’ ‘Smallville,’ and the Canadian series 'Endgame.'

‘Suits’ returns for its fourth season in June on USA.
