'The Voice' Will Double Up For The Fall and Spring

the voice logoIt seems that 'The Voice' and NBC have decided to give the singing competition a two-fer this fall. One season airing in the Fall and another one in the Spring! This is the first time one singing competition show has done this and NBC feels that it is time to allow NBC viewers the joy of hearing singers twice a year from now on. The argument as to why this is needing to happen is for the fact that FOX has X Factor in the Fall and American Idol in the Spring. This is a valid point. However, some argue that is good because it is not the same show. Seeing 2 seasons of the same three judges and the same type of staging could be a little too much for the viewers. Alas the president of NBC doesn't think so and says that he is looking forward to this push in the Fall.

'The Voice', which just finished their season with crowning Jermaine Jones as their winner, has proven themselves worthy of holding their own during American Idol, but to go against the X Factor may be a tricky move. With FOX pushing back with 'The Choice' a mockery of 'The Voice' where the people interested in a girl is going to have to judge solely on their voice. The two networks are sure to have their hands full. With Coaches: Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera on board to be the ones to decide, it may cause a little bit of uneasiness with the viewers.

What do you think? Do you think that 'The Voice' needs to push the boundaries and go for another season after watching a full season in the Fall or is it too much?

You're kidding, right. The "joy" of hearing bad singing contest that try to spice it up with tales of fighting judges. Give me a break.
