Gwen Stefani In Talks to Join 'The Voice'

Gwen Stefani might be joining NBC's 'The Voice.' The No Doubt singer is in talks to replace expectant mother Christina Aguilera on the show's seventh season.

Stefani, who just gave birth to third son Apollo in Februrary, would join fellow newbie judge Pharrell Williams, who is taking over the big red chair for Cee Loo Green. Coaches (and bros) Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are expected to return next season, which begins shooting in June.

Last Saturday, Stefani joined Williams as a special guest star for "Hollaback Girl" during his set onstage at Coachella. Williams, apparently, promised "big things" for her. Was he hinting at 'The Voice' gig?

With Stefani in the hot (red) seat, 'The Voice' is basically certifying that it sure does love its blonde divas. Singer (and blonde-tressed) Shakira is currently coaching the sixth season, alongside Usher. Both are reprising their duties from Season 4, alongside guest mentors, Miranda Lambert, Aloe Blacc, Jill Scott, the Band Perry and Chris Martin.

Also, it must be said that something sure does seem to be in the water when it comes to motherhood and 'The Voice.' Shakira began her judging duties just months after she gave birth to her first child, Stefani recently had a kid, and now Xtina's due for baby No. 2.

Adam and Blake: look out. The pitter and patter of little feet could be headed your way next.

'The Voice' airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8/7c.
