Is Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) getting a new love interest on CBS’ ‘The Good Wife’? If so, it just might be in the form of ‘Lost’ alum Nestor Carbonell.
Yesterday, CBS announced Carbonell will guest star on the upcoming May 4 episode as a charming entrepreneur named Daniel Irwin. Alicia and Daniel meet during jury duty (who else wishes jury duty was that exciting in real life?), which leads the leading lady to question whether she’s ready to expand her romance options outside of her marriage to Peter (Chris Noth).
As most of us do when it comes to our love lives, Alicia seeks advice. Who does she go to? None other than her mother, Veronica (Stockard Channing), who is no stranger when it comes to playing the field.
Ever since Will’s (Josh Charles) death and Peter’s lack of compassion, Alicia decided she will remain married to her husband, but only for the sake of their careers. This means the two can date other people. We’ll have to tune in to the episode, titled “The Deep Web,” which also features Michael J. Fox’s as Louis Canning, to see if Alicia makes her move on Daniel.
In addition to ‘Lost,’ Carbonell is also known for ‘Ringer,’ ‘Wilfred,’ ‘Bates Motel,’ and his recent appearance on ‘Person of Interest.’
‘The Good Wife’ airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
