Our Time

A musical variety show that featured music and artists from the 1950s and 1960s, Our Time debuted on July 27, 1985 on NBC and aired on Saturday nights at 8 PM E.S.T. The show was 30 minutes in length and only lasted a total of 7 episodes ending on September 7, 1985.

Some of the musical guests were Frankie Avalon, John Sebastian, Tab Hunter, Johnny Crawford, Sono Bono (without Cher), Lesley Gore, Ricky Nelson, Johnny Rivers and Paul Petersen.

There were non-musical guests as well. Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Dana are just two of the comics who made appearances. Stars of popular TV shows from the 50s and 60s also made special appearances including Edd ‘Kookie’ Byrnes (77 Sunset Strip), Adam West (Batman), Jay North (Dennis The Menace), Chuck Connors (The Rifleman), Tina Louise (Gilligan's Island), James Doohan (Star Trek), Dwayne Hickman (Dobie Gillis), Donna Douglas (The Beverly Hillbillies), Don DeFore (Hazel) and Dick York (Bewitched).
