Pepper Ann

Pepper Ann

Pepper Ann is about a corky, pre-teen who longs to be cool, named Pepper Ann Pearson. She has very reliable friends, Nicky, a genius / perfectionist, and Milo, an artist, who preaches to P.A., as he calls her. Her mom is a down-to-Earth, single-working Mother, with her parents having divorced when she was young. Pepper Ann's dad is a blimp pilot, who does advertising. Pepper Ann doesn't see him much, but still knows as much about him as any other kid knows their dad. She has one sibling, Moose, who is frequently mistaken for a boy. With that in mind, you'd think she'd mind, but she doesn't. She's a tomb boy, and proud of it! Together, Pepper Ann's family live together in a large duplex, with her Aunt Janie, and Uncle JoJo living next door. Pepper Ann has a crush on Craig Bean, an eight-grader, who seems to like her as well.
Pepper Ann usually has a half-baked sceme up her sleeve to solve, but usually ultimately starts, any problem. Milo and Nicky usually accompany her, relunctantly, of course.

Pepper Ann premiered in 1997 on Disney's One Saturday Morning on ABC, but was moved to UPN's Disney's One Too in later seasons. After the show was canceled in 2000, it was picked up by Toon Disney, and aired there until 2003. The characters were designed by Tom Warburton.

"Who's that girl?
What's her name?
Is she cool?
Is she lame?
Oh, you're talkin' 'bout what's-her-name...
Pepper Ann!

Is she lame?
Is she cool?
Is she breakin' every rule?
Is she anybody's fool?
Pepper Ann!

Pepper Ann, Pepper Ann,
Marchin' in her own parade.
Pepper Ann, she's like one in a million!
Pepper Ann, Pepper Ann,
Much too cool for seventh grade.
Catch 'er if you can, Pepper Ann!

Who?
Is that that girl from gym class?
No, that's me.
Ew...
Who is she and why does she have her own song?
Did someone take my lunch?

Pepper Ann, Pepper Ann,
Marchin' in her own parade.
Pepper Ann, she's like one in a million!
Pepper Ann, Pepper Ann,
Much too cool for seventh grade.
No one's cooler than Pepper Ann!
She's her own biggest fan Pepper Ann!
Catch 'er if you can, Pepper Ann!
