Along with Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimerman, John de Lancie and Richard Poe, he is one of only six actors to play the same character in three different "Star Trek" series.
 
He was married to Barbara Eden from January 17, 1958 to May 25, 1974.
 
His only child, Matthew Ansara, died of an accidental drug overdose on June 25, 2001 at the age of 35.
 
He is 6'3".
 
He appeared in three episodes of "I Dream of Jeannie" in which his then-wife, Barbara Eden, starred. He also directed one episode of the series.
 
Although born in Syria, his parents were American.
 
Like Yul Brynner and Telly Savalas, he shaved his head for a role in the 1970s and has kept the look ever since.
 
He has played the same character, Dr. Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze, in four different series: "Batman", "Batman: Gotham Knights", "The New Batman Superman Adventures" and "Batman Beyond".
