Detective Kevin Bernard comes to the 27th Precinct after leaving Internal Affairs. We first see Bernard when he is called on a case from I.A. to investigate Detective Ed Green. After Bernard realizes that Green is innocent, he helps exonerate him of the crime. However, Green leaves and Bernard comes in to take his place. His relationship with his partner, Detective Cyrus Lupo, begins rocky, but they eventually come to respect each other and work well together. |
