Hilary Ann Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston Texas. She is the youngest of two chlidren. Her sister, Haylie Duff was born February 19, 1985. At age 6, her and her sister were part of the Cechetti Ballet traveling company, but decided that she would rather act. Her first role was in the mini series True Woman, but it was so small, she wasn't even listed in the credits. Then she appeared in The Soul Collector, which won her a Best Performance in a Tv Pilot or Movie, and a supporting actress. Afterwards she starred in the TV movie, Casper Meets Wendy. But her big break did not come until 2001's disney channel hit, Lizzie McGuire. After the show ended, she starred in the dinsey's channel movie, Cadet Kelly, and the Lizzie McGuire movie. Then in 2003, she released her first album, Metamorphosis. Afterwards she starred in movies such as Cheaper by the Dozen, with Steve Martin, A Cinderella Story with Chad Michael Murray, and The Perfect Man with Heather Locklear. Then in 2004, she released her second album, entitled Hilary Duff. Her Newest movie "Material Girls" was released nation-wide on August 18 with over 2,000 screens. She is also working on her 4th album which currently is untitled and in Bulgraia sooting her upcoming film "War Inc."
