On May the 13th 1986 Robert Pattinson was born in London, England. He attended the Harrodian private school. Robert first got involved with working backstage at the Barnes Theather Company when he was 15, then after a while working there he himself started acting on stage.
In the year 2004 he got his first two roles in the movies Vanity Fair and Ring of the Nibelungs, although all his scenes were cut out in the first one. His big breakthrough came when he got the part of Cedric Diggroy in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and following his performance in the movie he was named 2004's British Star of Tomorrow by Times Online.
Robert is not only an actor, he is also a musician, he plays the guitar and piano and also sings. Three of his songs were included on the soundtrack to the movie Twilight.
Robert's big break came when he beat out 3000 other actors for the role of Edward Cullen in the movie Twilight, where he plays a vampire who falls in love with a mortal girl by the name of Bella Swan.
