Methos is rumored to be the oldest living Immortal at this time. His age is estimated at over 5000 years. Nobody really knows for sure, not even Methos himself. Around 1000 B.C., he rode across the land with three others calling themselves The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. They raped and pillaged, leaving nothing but death and destruction in their wake like the world had never seen. After they disbanded, Methos went into hiding and for thousands of years, nobody knew if he was still alive or not. Methos turned up as a member of the Watchers under the guise of Adam Pierson. Ironically, Adam Pierson has been billed the foremost expert on Methos. Methos still tries to keep his whereabouts hidden and maintain his cover inside the Watchers because most Immortals would love to take his quickening.
