Royana is a Native American with her heritage ½ Mohawk Indian and ½ Paugussett Indian.
 
She began her acting career at the age of 9 when she appeared in “Neil Simon’s” Broadway production of “Brighton Beach Memoirs” along with a young “Matthew Broderick”.
 
“Adam: His Song Continues” was part 2 of the abduction and murder of little “Adam Walsh” the son of “John Walsh” who is the host of "America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back" on FOX TV.
 
Due to the story of “Adam Walsh” a lot of Major Department stores around the national began the “Code Adam” alert systems throughout their stores. Target and Wal-Mart were the first 2 groups to jump on board and use this new alert system.
 
Royana currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California and can be seen from time to time in a guest cast role for different TV series’.
 
She continued to appear and perform in many Broadway and off-Broadway productions off and on over the next 9 or so years until she entered Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
 
She graduated from Yale University where she received her BA in English.
 
Royana got her very first taste of National exposure when she played “Susan” in the Made for TV Drama film “Adam: His Song Continues” in 1986 that aired on NBC TV as a follow-up to “Adam” in 1983.
