Juliet Hammond-Hill

Juliet (now Juliette) was born and brought up in the south of England. After A-Levels, she trained for a career in acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She later went on to the University of Greenwich to train as a teacher and has a degree and also a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in performing arts.

Juliette is remembered as a screen actress for her part in Secret Army (now available on DVD) and Kessler, but she is mostly seen on UK television now in Dark Towers, a children's show made in 1981. A complete showing of Dark Towers is on CBBC in 2006.

In television and radio she worked mostly as Juliet Hammond-Hill, but from the mid-1980s was also credited as Juliet Hammond. Now, as Juliette Hammond, she teaches drama studies at the Academy of Creative Training, Brighton, England, and also directs stage plays there.
