Leighton Meester is an American actress, and was born on April 9, 1986 in Fort Worth, Texas. Meester is best known for playing Blair Waldorf on the CW teen drama Gossip Girl. She was also previously a regular on the NBC sci-fi series Surface. In film, she's appeared in Date Night, Going The Distance, and Country Strong, and played a leading role in the 2011 thriller The Roommate. TV guest credits include Law & Order, Boston Public, 7th Heaven, Entourage, 24, 8 Simple Rules, Veronica Mars, House, CSI: Miami and Shark. Meester can next be seen in the Adam Sandler/Andy Samberg comedy That's My Boy.
