voiced Alfred Pennyworth in Justice League Unlimited

History: Alfred escorted young Tim Drake to the funeral of Superman. Soon after that, Alfred had waited on the Justice League during the Thanagarian invasion.

Character Background: Alfred first appeared in Batman #16. Like his animated counterpart, Alfred was the butler of Bruce Wayne. However, there are two versions of the character. There is the pre-crises version of the character and there is the post-crises version of the character. The pre-crises version of the character is more like his animated counterpart. The pre crises version was a retired British intelligence operative, who now served Bruce Wayne as his butler. The Post crises version of the character was working for the Waynes since Bruce was a little infant. That version of the character was also romantically tied with Dr. Leslie Tompkins.
