Stephanie is an actress, dancer & a R&B singer and her professional career began at the age of 7 when she appeared in the Broadway musical “Maggie Flynn” and when she was 15 she played the part of ‘Dorothy’ in the Broadway musical “The Wiz”.

At the age of 21 she reprised her role as ‘Dorothy’ in the Movie version of “The Wiz” in 1978. Her first hit on the music charts was “What Cha Gonna Do With My Lovin’” in 1979 that peaked at #22 on the pop charts & at #8 on the black singles chart.

Since 1979 she has have over 25 songs on one of Billboard magazines’ singles charts with 6 of them peaking at #1 and she has had 12 albums on the charts with “If I Were Your Woman” peaking at #1 as well.
