Tariq is an Arab-American who came into the unit as a replacement for Bo, after Bo was seriously injured. Tariq's understanding of Arab culture and customs is a great benefit to the unit, and this knowledge saves the unit from potential harm several times during their tour of duty. However, the hardships that he faces being an Arab fighting against other Arabs makes Tariq increasingly likely to suffer from post traumatic stress disorder once the tour is over. |
