The Used

The Used is a alternative rock band from Utah who originally formed under the name Strange Itch in 1994, then consisting of Jeph Howard, Bert McCracken, Quinn Allman and Matt Brown. In 1998 the band released their first self titled album and the band stayed the same until Quinn Allaman took over playing the guitar in 1999 and the same year the band change its name to Dumb Luck.

In the year 2000 the band released The Naked Truth EP but soon after the EP was released yet another change in the bands lineup was made as Bert McCracken moved to lead vocals and Jeph Howard changed to bass, and the same time another namechange occured, the band was now called Used. It was in 2001 things started to happen as the band was signed to Reprise Records. In 2002 the band again changed its name again to their current name, The Used, because another band already had tradmarked the name Used many years earlier.
Today The Used has released three studio albums, of which two have sold Platinum and their newest album who has recently been released have sold over 241000 copies.
