Hamish Blake was born in Melbourne, Australia, in mid December, 1981. He attended school at Caulfield Grammar School, and studied Science/Commerce at the University of Melbourne.
Hamish then drew for first place at the university's annual stand-up comedy competition. There was where he met his comedic partner, Andy Lee, and they both co-hosted the Network Seven show, Hamish & Andy .
But it wasn't all an easy road to national recognition. Before the Hamish and Andy show, he and Andy hosted the Channel 31 show, Radio Karate, with Ryan Shelton and Duncan Campbell. Hamish and Andy also had a few spots on Fox FM, which is a Melbourne radio station.
Hamish and Andy now host the Fox FM Drive Time spot.
Hamish's TV credits include: Appearing on Australia's Braniest Comedian; Being a regular on ABC music TV show, Spicks and Specks and on some episodes on Network Ten's Thank God You're Here.
