French Stewart

General Information (French Stewart)

Mostly Credited As: French Stewart
Birth Name: Milton French Stewart
Date Of Birth: February 20, 1964
Country Of Birth: USA
Birth Place: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Height: 5' 10" (1.77 m)
Spouse
Katherine La Nasa May/19/1998 - Present

Milton French Stewart was born on February 20, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1998, Stewart married Dennis Hopper’s ex-wife, Katherine La Nasa (star(red) in Love Monkey), and gained a step-son, Henry.

Stewart acquired a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and then spent the next seven years acting in regional theater. Apparently, Stewart’s first television work involved starring in a new version of WKRP in Cincinati (strangely enough, named The New WKRP in Cincinnati). French played the part of Razor Dee in the second, and last season of this syndicated sitcom. A year after that show went off the air, French appeared in two guest-starring roles, on Seinfeld and The Larry Sanders Show before turning up in his first major motion picture, appearing as Lieutenant Ferretti in 1994's Stargate, the film that lead to the Showtime (and later SciFi) series Stargate: SG-1 and SciFi’s Stargate: Atlantis. Then in 1996, French acquired the role for which he is most famous, playing the part of Harry Solomon on 3rd Rock from the Sun for six seasons (1996-2001). While still starring in that show, French also starred in two other series, lending his voice to 1998's one-season Disney series Hercules, and later providing the voice of Bob Allman in 2000's very short-lived NBC animated sitcom titled God, the Devil and Bob. Since the end of 3rd Rock from the Sun, French has continued to work in both television and film. He is currently attached to a series titled Misconceptions for a network that will cease to exist at the end of the 2005-2006 television season. It is conceivable that the show might turn up before the end of that network’s life, or the show might turn up on the new The CW (the new network made up from a merged The WB and UPN).
