Melissa first appeared on the national scene as a member of the
“Barbell Mafia” team on the weekly TV game show, reality series on
Game Show Network called
“Extreme Dodgeball”. She briefly trained at
Killer Kowalski's Pro Wrestling Training School located St. Malden, Massachusetts before enrolling in
Ultimate University Professional Wrestling (UPW) in San Clemente, California. After her training was completed she moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 2005 and joined OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) an independent branch owned by the WWE. On 1 May 2005 she appeared at the
“Backlash” pay-per view to except the challenge of
Chris Masters (Chris Mordetsky) in his $3,000
“Masterlock Challenge” but Chris was victorious.
In June she became a valet along with
Jillian Hall (Jillian Fletcher) for the tag-team
“The Blonde Bombers” which consisted of
Chad Toland (Chad Wicks) and
John Toland (Johnathan Michael Tolland). She next became
“Head of Security” for
“Bolin Services” which consisted of a variety of ever changing superstars.
Kenny ‘Star Maker’ Bolin, ‘Chief’ Mr. Black, Rico Constantino, Nick Dinsmore, Rob Conway, Sly Skraper, Mark henry, Bull Buchanan, The Phototype, Lance Cade, Jerome Croney, Sean O’Haire, Renee DuPree, Mike Mondo, ‘Blaster’ Lashley, Ken Doane, Big Guido, Ms. Blu and
Desiree.
She had been dating professional wrestler
Gene Snitsky (Eugene A. Snisky) but in late 2005 they broke up and Melissa left OVW and went to WXW (World Xtreme Wrestling). WXW is based out of Hazleton, Pennsylvania and is owend by
‘Afa’ (Arthur Anoai) formerly of
“The Wild Samoans”. She also signed up for a series of infomercials with actor
David Carradine to promote the
"Kung Fu Fitness System". On 19 February 2006 she defeated
Krissy Vaine (Kristin Eubanks) in a match in WXW. Krissy had just signed a new developmental contract with the WWE to begin training in DSW (Deep South Wrestling). DSW is another of many WWE independent training organizations and it's homebase is located in Griffin, Georgia. Melissa has since signed a new contract with the WWE and is also appearing in DSW.
