Francine York caught the acting bug in high school. She was a runner-up in the Miss Minnesota Pagent and began modeling soon afterwards. After modeling locally and in Minneapolis, she moved to San Francisco and began modeling for major department stores like Macy's. While living in San Francisco, she entered beauty pagents and took a job as a show girl which led her to Hollywood where she did commercials for major companies like Chrysler, Max Factor Cosmetics and Betty Crocker.
After appearing in her first feature,Secret File Hollywood, she was discovered by comedian Jerry Lewis who cast her in 6 of his movies: It's Only Money, The Nutty Professor, Family Jewels, The Patsy, Disorderly Orderly and Cracking Up. Francine went on to work with such notables as Marlon Brando, Bob Hope, Elvis Presley, Nicholas Cage and David Niven.
Her credits include a number of feature films like The Greatest Story Ever Told and The Family Man. Her numerous television credit span decades and genres with appearances on shows like Las Vegas, Even Stevens, Beverly Hills, 90210, Mama's Family and Mission: Impossible.
Francine has a deep interest in health and nutrition and has appeared on the covers of national magazines like Fitness Plus. Her gourmet recipes have been published in both movie and health magazines.
