Frankie was trained for the squared circle by Bill Anderson, Jesse Hernandez & Killer Kowalski (Wladek Kowalski) & he made his in-ring debut after only one month of training in 1998 in Malden, MA against Freight Train Dan. |
He continued his training at “Killer Kowalski's Professional Wrestling School” for another 8 months then went to California and began wrestling regularly on the independent circuit there. |
He has had the following wrestling names/nicknames of Frankie Gerdelman, Frankie Kazarian, The Future and Kazarian. |
While in EWF (Empire Wrestling Federation) in San Bernardino, California he wrestled and at the same time continued his training with ‘Bad Influence’ Josh Galaxy. |
He joined UPW (Ultimate Pro Wrestling) in 2000 and in March 2001 formed a tag-team with Nova (Mike Bucci) now better known as Simon Dean calling themselves “Evolution”. |
In May 2003 he was with WWA (World Wrestling All-Stars) where he met wrestlers Glenn Gilbertti aka Disco Inferno and Scott D’Amore which lead to a offer later on to join TNA. |
On 31 May 2003 he had 1 match in ROH (Ring of Honor) and then on 4 June he wrestled for the first time in TNA. He continued in TNA and also took some matches from time to time in AWS, BCW, FPW, NWA, PWG and in UPW. |
On 15 February 2005 he quit TNA but continued to work for them as a unsigned free agent for a short time before hitting the independent circuit wrestling in APW, JAPW, NWA, PWG and in UPW. |
In May 2005 he began wrestling in OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) a small feeder independent organization owned by the WWE and on 14 July he beat Nuzio on an episode of “WWE Velocity” saying "I am the Future, and the Future looks good!" |
He wrestled and defeated all of his opponents 4 consecutive weeks in a row on “WWE Smackdown” in July & August. Some sources indicate he was then released from his contract for unknown reasons & some say he quit. |
