played Agent Enrico Rossi in The Untouchables (1959)
Originally a barber in the show's premiere episode, Enrico Rossi was a witness to a gangland killing who was given a job as a driver for the Untouchables so that they could protect him from reprisals. Later on he became a full-fledged member of the squad. The only Italian member of the Untouchables, Rico was helpful because he was familiar with the territory. Raised pigeons as a hobby. Had a married sister. Never had much luck on stakeouts. |
