Alesha is an actress, choreographer, dancer, singer & writer and she was 1 of 3 members of the all-female vocal R&B, garage rock, rap group “Mis-teeq” with Sabrina Washington & Su-Elise Nash before the officially broke up in 2005.
| Mis-teeq’s 1st release in 2004 “One Night Stand (remixes)” peaked at #4 on Billboard magazine’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart & their biggest hit also released in 2004 was “Scandalous” that peaked at #2 on the Hot Dance Singles Sales chart.
| Before their 2 big hits in the U.S. in 2004 they had a big hit in England in 2000 with their debut single titled “Why” originally released as a R&B song it was remixed by Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont & re-released and became a big garage scene & radio hit.
