Lloyd Bochner began his career at age 11 on radio in his native Canada. In 1946, he made his screen debut in The Mapleville Story, a Canadian production. After moving to the U.S., he made his television debut in 1952 as a regular on One Man's Family, a soap opera adapted from the radio serial of the same name.

He went on to appear as a regular on series like Dynasty and Hong Kong, but most of his work was as a guest star on various popular television shows including Hogan's Heros, Perry Mason and Mission: Impossible. He is readily recognizable from his role as Chambers in To Serve Man an episode from the original Twilight Zone.
