voiced Dr. Kirk Langstrom / Man-Bat in Batman: The Animated Series

History: Coming soon...

Character’s background: Dr. Kirk Langstrom, aka Man-Bat, made his first appearance in Detective Comics #400 (June 1970) and was a creation of Frank Robbins and Neal Adams. Robert Kirkland Langstrom was an eminent biologist whose speciality was the study of bats. He sought to invent a serum which would enable blind people to develop bats' natural sonar system. Once he thought he got it, he used it on himself and as a result he transformed into an irrational half-human/half-bat creature. Eventually Batman got an antidote which allowed Kirk to use his Man-Bat persona consciously. He and Francine have two children: Elizabeth and Aaron. Aaron was born a natural Man-Bat.

played Mike Donovan in V (1983)

Mike Donovan was a TV news cameraman. He had experience as a combat photographer and was used to being where the danger was. His footage of the Visitor's true identity and later his reports of their dastardly plans help to galvanize the resistance. He seems unable to button his shirts though, but this doesn't seem to affect his alien fighting ability.
