Johnny enjoys a father-son/mentor-protege relationship with Marshal Troop. Johnny is young, intelligent, and brave. He takes his job as deputy seriously but has a sense of humor and is capable of enjoying some lighthearted moments. He develops strong, loyal, and caring relationships with others.
