Taylor Swift has become a star in Country music at the age of 16 as her self-titled CD "Taylor Swift" hit stores in 2006. Her first single, "Tim McGraw" has become one of Country music's most requested songs and reached #6 in the charts. She has recently released her second single, "Teardrops On My Guitar" and has been on tour with George Strait and currently part of Brad Paisley's "Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour". She released her second album, "Fearless" in November of 2008, and led the album off with the #1 single, "Love Story". Recent singles included "White Horse" and the #1 hit, "You Belong With Me". Swift is currently filming a new movie starring Taylor Lautner, Jessica Alba, and others titled "Valentine's Day".

At the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in 2009, she acted as magician David Copperfield's assistant for two illusions. In the first illusion, she appeared inside a glass-sided elevator that David had previously shown to have been completely empty. In the second illusion, called Clearly Impossible, she was sawed in half by David using the same transparent-sided boxes he'd regularly used in the 1990s to saw Claudia Schiffer in half.
