voiced Cosmo in The Fairly OddParents
Age: Thousands of years; exact age has never been revealed.
Occupation: Fairy godparent.
Lives with: Mr. Turner, Mrs. Turner, Timmy and Wanda, disguised as a fish in a fishbowl located in Timmy's room. Mr. and Mrs. Turner don't know that Cosmo actually lives with them.
Hobbies: Having fun with his magic, playing with Timmy.
Best Friends: Wanda (she is the only person in the world that stands him; she's also his wife).
Cosmo, Timmy's dimwitted fairy godfather, shares his dumbness with Timmy, as Wanda is opposed to this. No matter what Timmy wishes, he grants it unless he's breaking "Da' Rules".
It's well known that Cosmo is stupid. Very, very stupid, in fact. Cosmo's stupidity may be a result of his mother. She loved him too much, at the point that she chose everything for him and she did everything for him. The only thing that Mama Cosma didn't choose in Cosmo's life was Wanda, his wife, someone that Mama Cosma hates.
To get married, Cosmo told her mom that he was going to buy some milk to a shop near the house where they lived. However, he went to see Wanda and never returned. They escaped and got married hiding from Mama Cosma. However, she wasn't worried about him. Probably she is a bit dimwitted too, since she never thought that Cosmo escaped even if he disappeared for thousands of years (a considerable amount of years for a fairy). Mama Cosma didn't want to loose Cosmo and she wanted him to marry 2 sexy fairy robots without mind. However, seems that Wanda's smartness was a better "tool" to get Cosmo's attention.
Cosmo is often saved or stopped from doing stupid things by Wanda and he usually follows her rules. He is really scared of getting Wanda angry, since he knows what she can do if she "loses control of herself". Cosmo has risked her happy marriage several times because he often overreacts under unimportant circumstances and ignores really important issues. He even became jealous of Timmy one time because he thought that Wanda loved him more than a godmother should do. Cosmo's jealousy is in fact one of his most endearing qualities, especially when his jealousy is aroused whenever Juandissimo Magnifico, a sexy Latin fairy and Wanda's former flame, is around.
Unfortunately, new writers on the Fairly OddParents since the departure of Butch Hartman staff have nearly destroyed Cosmo's personality by making him act cruelly towards Wanda at times in place of making dumb mistakes as he used to do, making him so stupid he's no longer funny. Many fans have protested against this sudden, unwarranted change in Cosmo's character. It is the number one reason cited by fans as to why "The Fairly Oddparents" have slipped in popularity to the point of cancellation.
Timmy usually has more fun with Cosmo, due his spontaneous, fun and extreme ideas. However, Cosmo isn't helpful to Timmy when he needs it since he has difficulties even to solve his own problems.
Cosmo really dislikes the main fairy, Jorgen Von Strangle, but seems that Jorgen hates him more due his spontaneous, un-reflexive attitude that often causes problems when he grants everything that Timmy wishes.
Even if he isn't exactly the smartest person in the world, Cosmo has really good intentions and he is often a lovely, funny character, acclaimed by the fans of the series. |

voiced Jorgen Von Strangle in The Fairly OddParents
Age: Thousands of years, exact age has never been revealed.
Occupation: Head fairy
Lives with: Unknown.
Hobbies: Doing anything related to his biceps, testing the godparents' performance, being mean with Binky and forcing him to work.
Best Friends: No one in the universe can stand him with the exception of Cosmo and Wanda. Jorgen considers them his "friends by default."
Jorgen Von Strangle is the head fairy of Fairy World. He is mean and egocentric, only cares about his biceps, forces the godparents and his personal assistant (Binky) to do a lot of work and hates Timmy.
It's clear that Jorgen is a really strong, mean "macho" man. However, he has shown some signs of having a sensible, sweeter side. It was revealed that Jorgen watches soaps operas, mainly "I Love My Biceps", starring Blonda, Wanda's sister. He also fell in love with the tooth fairy and with the help of Timmy and his godparents eventually married her, though that topic hasn't been discussed again and the tooth fairy hasn't appeared frequently.
Even if Timmy has tried several times to make Jorgen's life better and has been successful in his tasks, Jorgen still hates him. He does everything that doesn't break the rules to do something "bad" to Timmy, such as taking his godparents and reassign them to another boy. While Timmy is often the victim of Jorgen's abuse of power, he is like that with almost everybody.
Binky, Jorgen's personal assistant, suffers a lot more than Timmy. While he only has to meet Jorgen a couple of times a month, Binky has to deal with him every day. He is forced to do what Jorgen wants since if he refuses Jorgen may take revenge, and the revenge may be remembered for all his life due to Jorgen's strength.
Jorgen is very egocentric and almost only cares about his biceps. He is usually doing something related to them, such as a "biceps bath", a "biceps massage" or a "biceps trip". He loves his arms at the point that he kisses them.
It was revealed that Jorgen used to be a disco man similar to "Disco Stu" from The Simpsons with a funny purple Afro haircut. In the past, Jorgen was also very rude and strong, but the "disco fever" made him a bit nicer.
Because no fairy can stand him, Jorgen usually relies on Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda to solve his personal problems that aren't related to his work as the head fairy. |

voiced Mr. Turner in The Fairly OddParents
Age: Around 40
Occupation: Unknown, but it's been revealed that he works in a big office as a regular employee.
Lives with: Mrs. Turner, Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda (he doesn't know that he lives with the godparents).
Hobbies: Watching TV, going out with his wife.
Best Friends: Mrs. Turner; she's also his wife and she's the only person that stands him.
Besides Cosmo, Mr. Turner is probably the dumbest person in Dimmsdale. He is really dumb and he always ruins everything because he doesn't understand well what he is doing, but he isn't a bad person and always wants the best for his family.
Mr. Turner usually does almost everything wrong. Due his lack of intelligence, he has completely ruined Timmy's homework several times. He likes to help his son and his wife, but he doesn't manage to be useful. To make it worse, he is always looking for something to help with, so Timmy often has to hide his school-related stuff from him.
Mr. Turner has built several things for his house, his wife and his son, including a washing machine, a bike and several other useful machines, but all of them can't do what they are supposed to do and they usually end up exploding. However, this isn't Mr. Turner's intention.
Mr. Turner sometimes is more than dumb and seems that he really has some serious mental problems. He has done a lot of crazy things, such as dressing and acting like a woman to join a beauty contest or trying to use heavy war weaponry against his biggest enemy: his neighbor.
Since they were children, Mr. Turner has hated his neighbor, Sheldon Dinkleberg. He always says that Dinkleberg is wrong, but the truth is that Mr. Turner is really jealous of him. When they were very young, Mrs. Turner (called simply "Mom" by everyone) liked Sheldon and Mr. Turner (called "Dad" by everyone) liked Mom. Also, Dinkleberg got better grades. Then, the army paid him a lot of money to know what was inside his big pants. He still hates him.
It isn't clear what does Mr. Turner do at work, but it's known that he works in an office with Dinkleberg. Sheldon usually gets all the awards and recognitions such as the "Employee of the Month", "Employee of the Year" or "Cleanest Office", making Mr. Turner even more jealous.
Mr. Turner spends a lot of time out (working or having fun with his wife), leaving Timmy with Vicky. |
